Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to Accounting department
  • Create and send invoices while accurately maintaining related documents and records
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting ledgers and other financial records
  • Reconcile accounts in timely manner Reconcile accounts in timely manner
  • Assist with payroll data entry
  • Daily data entry of raw material purchases and usage transactions
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Match invoices to purchase orders, process invoices for payment, and maintain vendor files
  • Assist with employee expense report, credit cards, and sub-contractor invoices
  • Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Degree in accounting or related field is an advantage
  • 2-3 years of experience in clerical accounting
  • MS office and knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks and Intacct knowledge is a plus)
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and book keeping procedures
