The Creative Director is responsible for partnering with the sales and creative teams to provide strategic direction and creative insights in the development of client solutions. You use key data that ensures strategies are well informed. You understand client needs and help generate plans to successfully tell clients’ brand stories.

We are currently seeking a Creative Director to join our team.

We’re looking for experienced, detailed, motivated and passionate team players to add to the ASTOUND Management Group. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of thinking outside of the box when it comes to big, bold, creative, trade show, not afraid to push boundaries, and can rise to any occasion.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience creating branded environments: trade shows, events, brand experiences and activations, exhibits and permanent environments.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as build strong and trusted relationships within studio. members, other departments, clients and vendors.
  • Effective oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High performance, high productivity mindset.
  • Traveling and extended hours may be required.
  • Ability to work in an environment characterized by constant change and tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Unimpeachable integrity, self-confidence, a high level of energy, and a sense of humor.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and anticipate challenges and solutions before they arise.
  • Detail Oriented – you have a keen attention to detail and a “right the first time” mindset.
  • Ability to work in an environment characterized by constant change and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the creative functionalities of concept development, collaborating with team members, meeting work expectations, and discussing team goals and achievements
  • Research and communicate with clients to clearly understand their goals and objectives.
  • Work with the team to produce fresh, innovative work that translates ideas into compelling stories and experiences that build love and communities around our client’s brands.
  • Develop design response concepts including narrative, aesthetic direction, graphics and interactive engagements
  • Assist sales and client services teams in analyzing clients’ businesses to uncover growth opportunities
  • Mentor and encourage junior creative team members to learn and grow
  • Adhere to and manage project deadlines and budgets (internal and external)
  • Adhere to and manage project resources and time to complete the project
  • Track and enter time daily in the Salesforce operating system
  • Interface with clients, Sales, Acct Directors, Acct Managers, Project Managers and Designers
