Nike engaged astound to develop a unique retail activation that encouraged consumers to trial the brand-new Jordan XXXIV shoe.

The shoe included innovation in basketball footwear and Nike wanted consumers to test their basketball skills in this innovation. ASTOUND was involved in the ideation and strategy of the trial experience and brand activation — once this activation proposal was approved, ASTOUND designed, fabricated and executed the activation from start to finish. Guests were greeted by trained brand ambassadors who explained the design and innovation of the footwear, then encouraged guests to trial the footwear through a digital game and prizes. The digital game involved guests moving from illuminated, pressure-sensitive pads in a basketball training formation.
