CREATORS LOUNGE

 

ASTOUND was contracted to design and execute a unique Adidas environment within an existing gondola suite at the Air Canada Centre.

CHALLENGE

Retrofit an existing executive suite at the Air Canada Center to create an official ‘Adidas Creators Lounge’ for all Toronto Raptors events during the 2017-2018 NBA season.

SOLUTION

The retrofitted suite was not only host to branded game experiences but also acted as an activation space for new product releases and future design inspirations. The suite continued to showcase the brand’s campaigns throughout the season with interactive product displays and unique activations.

VIP SUITE

 

Following the success of the Gondola Suite installed at the Scotiabank Arena, adidas wanted to create a private outdoor suite where they can entertain guests, showcase products, and sponsor the Toronto Football Club.

CHALLENGE

Given a very short turnaround time, ASTOUND was engaged directly by Adidas to design, engineer, fabricate, and install a customized guest suite located at Toronto’s BMO Field.

SOLUTION

Due to the semi-permanent nature of this outdoor space, all design drawings were signed off by our trusted structural engineer prior to the production of the custom product display table, raised deck, perforated metal perimeter wall and bar counters.

SCOTIABANK

 

Adidas was seeking a partner that could provide a turnkey solution for an interactive brand activation at the Scotiabank Arena.

CHALLENGE

The interactive retail experience needed to be versatile, functional, and allow guests to engage with the brand. Most importantly, Adidas emphasized maintaining their brand DNA as the core of the kiosk. ASTOUND went above and beyond and delivered a premium shopping experience, rather than just a “kiosk”. We provided a turn-key solution, covering concept, design, build and install for our client.

SOLUTION

As fans entered the kiosk, they could find a mobile, custom infinity mirror to see how they look could look in new Adidas gear. This allowed for easy shareability, as fans could share with a purpose. While designing the booth, we factored in modularity. The booth allowed Adidas to move or replace elements for any special events. The POS desk was designed with functionality. The desk is self-contained, meaning if there are moments of high demand in-store, consumers can locate it more centrally–for easier access and increased security.

SPORT CHEK

 

ASTOUND worked closely with Adidas to provide a turnkey retail solution. 

CHALLENGE

Our partner needed to transform a Sport Chek store in Maple Leaf Square right before the pre-season home game for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

SOLUTION

When fans first enter the activation, they are engaged with a 3D Adidas LED logo, display walls, a digital mirror, and custom jersey cases surrounded by LED framed lighting.

Since the Maple Leaf Square is located right beside the Scotiabank Arena, we took advantage of the store's location. We created a branded space to show support to the Toronto Maple Leafs, selling predominantly Toronto Maple Leaf merchandise.
