Budweiser STAGE Marquee Sign

OVERVIEW:

Following the renaming of Toronto’s former Molson Canadian Amphitheatre to the Budweiser Stage, Ontario Place underwent a series of landscaping improvements including the installation of a permanent outdoor marquee sign—which served as a wayfinding element, a new landmark, and a photo opp.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

At night time, the illuminated marquee sign provides a beacon of light for concert-goers entering Ontario Place. Just past the main gates, visitors catch a glimpse of the marquee sign in the iconic bowtie shape of the Budweiser logo—which appears to have crash-landed from space conveniently in the middle of the pathway. The copy displayed on the sign is changed out for each different performance so that guests have a chance to take a photo or selfie of the cool sign announcing their fave performers.
