Oklahoma City Thunder superstar, Russell Westbrook, held a Jordan Brand-sponsored 'Why Not?' rally at the 8th Street Market in Oklahoma City. The rally provided Westbrook and Jordan Brand with a platform to inspire and connect with the local community and give a select group of high-school students access to some exclusive Westbrook merch and the All-Star NBA guard himself.
Once inside the 8th Street Market, guests were directed towards the Why Not? room where they could write down their own goals or mottos directly onto the wall. The black-and-white floor-to-ceiling graphic treatment also served as a cool photo/selfie opportunity for guests to take advantage of. Beyond the Why Not? room, guests had the option of trying out one of 12 pop-a-shot basketball units or lounging at one of four NBA2K18 flat-screen stations. A retail area and display cases were included as well, where guests got the exclusive chances to purchase some of the new gear. After the fun and games slowed down, PnB Rock and MadeinTYO took the stage to perform for the entire crowd to close off the event.
