Format Festival

Solana was booked for Format Festival and needed to create an immersive outdoor experience.

As the dedicated fabrication partner on the project with a very limited timeline, ASTOUND refined and redeveloped many of the components so they could be fabricated in time for the festival. The landscape terraces were initially overcomplicated for the timeline so we simplified them to a less complex solution. The entrance portal was also dependent on the structural rigidity of the tent so we redeveloped the entrance to have standalone stability.
