The Sunshine Doughnut’s were in need of a fabrication and design partner that could help realize their logo into a giant 3d landmark sign.

Located just off the busy Lakeshore Road, drivers now have a highly visible landmark in the form of a giant donut that indicates the location of Sunshine Doughnut Co. The sculpture is constructed using a steel and mesh subframe which was then coated in expanding foam and carved to shape by hand. The finished sculpture was then painted and coated in a clear hard coat to withstand hard weather conditions throughout the year. The vibrant and oversized nature of the donut sign has become a very popular social media opportunity for visitors.
