Volkswagen hosted a press conference during CES to deliver the company’s plans for the future of electric mobility and to launch the Golf R Touch in 2015 and their all-electric concept car, the Budd-E van, in 2016.
Located at the Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Theatre, guests were ushered to their seats once the meet-and-greet period had wrapped up. Guests were seated in front of a large stage which featured a massive digital video wall backdrop that displayed programmed animations and presentation visuals. For the reveal of the new electric concept car, a digital animation was displayed racing across the LED flooring onto the back-wall as the car made its way across the stage. Once keynotes had come to an end, guests were invited onto the stage to explore the new vehicles up close and personal, many hoping to get a word in with key VW personnel.
